Diversified Communities Customer Appreciation Day A
Swinging Success

The music was jumping, the barbecue was cooking, while new and future homeowners were having a wonderful summertime Saturday afternoon, at Diversified Communities award winning townhouse community, Riverwalk at Rahway.

Fresh off their double win as Best Townhomes and Best Model in New Jersey for under $500,000, builder Diversified Communities threw a swinging celebratory Customer Appreciation Day, complete with The Andy McDonough Swing Jazz Quartet, delicious Jersey barbecue with authentic Gourmet Indian Cuisine, fun for the kids, and even an impromptu cream pie fight. There was dancing in the aisles led by Vice-Chairman of Rahway Redevelopment, Courtney Clark and his wife Nelly, and it was a great opportunity for the Diversified family to meet the homeowners and many future owners who came to see the models and join in the fun.

It was an active day for Darryl Gay, Sales Manager of Riverwalk, and his other sales team members. They were so busy showing the models and walking the site with new customers, it barely gave him time to jam with the band. Darryl is also a musician and did step up later on and perform a fine trumpet solo.

In attendance were many of Rahway's Municipal leaders, Diversified's managing partners and employees, current Riverwalk homeowners, and many interested buyers who learned about Riverwalk through Diversified's recent win at the CBA Awards. Riverwalk at Rahway won in 2 categories, NJ's Best Townhomes and Best Model under $500,000.

The CBA Awards of Excellence honors the Associations' industry professionals who have achieved excellence and success in product design, sales, and marketing. The awards are voted on by a panel of judges who included builders, realtors, financial investors, and other top industry members. They are given in conjunction with the Builders and Remodelers Association of Northern New Jersey, the Central Jersey Builders Association, and this years awards program was very competitive and well attended.

All in all it was a fine time at Riverwalk, the children had fun with the pie eating contest and taking turns at the pinata, and everyone enjoyed some great music, food, and friendship in the center of the newly landscaped Riverwalk complex.
